Rescuing Orangutans

Who wouldn't want to save this sweet face?
One of our guided reading groups is reading Rescuing Orangutans. It is a sad fact that some people capture baby orangutans as pets. In order to do so, they must first kill the mother. There has been a drastic decrease of the population of orangutans in recent years. The orangutan below captured the heart of a man that is now rescuing these precious animals and helping save their population, one orangutan at a time. Please read the summaries below from our amazing readers.
